Bedroom Eyes (2025)

Bedroom Eyes is an accidentally triptych of paintings, born in the artist’s attempt to create a painting as a present for her beau. The pieces, Lookin’ for a Kiss, Poison, and Television each reflect a different point in her understanding of her relationship both to her beau and to her own self, each offering a space - a literal “room” - to reflect on ideas of intimacy, privacy, contention and desire. They also display - and contain the artist’s own fantasies - both within the her relationship and in her own private world.
